I’ve already talked to Arbella a couple times. I got the car looked at at a quick visit appraisal center, which while fairly quick seemed somewhat useless in that I could have just emailed my photos. They also said I’ll be provided keys to the worlds fastest racecar a rental and no deductible. All the costs will be taken care of as Arbella pays me and then goes after the other company instead of making me wait or having to go after the other company. So far its been easy. I’m still on the fence about going to the doctors. Everyone is saying go but I don’t know if I feel like I need to or not. If your just tuning in, someone spilled my coffee on the way to work.

Id go to the doctor just to get checked out, I know it’s probably a pain to go but in the long run Id rather be safe than sorry.

Go to the doctors, and your neck is gonna feel like hell tomorrow.

Definitely go to the doctors. I wish I did when my friends car was hit. I’ve had back problems ever since and would have been nice if the person who caused the pain had to pay for it, but now I’m stuck with the bills.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope the process continues to go smoothly.

Your insurance sounds pretty good. What they are going to do is called subrogation. Like you said, they will handle the damage to your vehicle and the rental, then go after the other party’s insurance for reimbursement. Goinv this route does save some time as opposed to waiting on the other carrier. It’s nice that they are waiving the deductible, too. Typically you’d have to pay it and let the other insurance company reimburse you on the backside.

As far as injuries, I would say it’s up to you. If you have it on your policy, then it wouldn’t hurt to at least get checked out.

Go to the doctor. My hit years back didn't seem too bad. I went to the dr anyway. Physical therapy helped but I still have occasional back problems

I’ve been on both sides of an accident like this ... a real pain in the ass for everyone involved. Except the body shop ... they love these things.

Go to the doctor. It’s a just-in-case move, but if something comes up later (once the pain and soreness really sink in) you’ll need documentation from the beginning. (Granted, this is coming from someone who frequently breaks bones and doesn’t realize for several days).

I would go to the doctor and get checked out if I were you.
